       I just watched someone be confused why they couldn't add their SSH key to GitHub.so they UPLOADED THEIR PRIVATE KEY TO CHATGPT TO ASK WHY IT DIDN'T WORK

       @LilaHexe oh no … nonono … ahhhh! :neofox_scream_scared: i've received enough credentials in chat and via email to fear what is to come when there is only a LLM and a huge database on the other end … instead of someone screaming at reminding the user to not share keys

       @LilaHexe maybe companies should really just hand out security keys to every new employee and generate keys on-device, so one can't easily extract and transmit sensitive key material … same goes for WebAuthN

       @nekorvidae @LilaHexe I fully expect them to not figure out how to use those security keys, but instead figure out how to get their own keys in that they already compromised by sharing somewhere...
