I definitely don't want to sound Dutch on purpose because "steenkolenengels" is really looked down upon.I also don't want to sound too American because fuck America and not too British either because I am not posh like that either.My English accent really just tends to shift depending on who I am talking to or whatever.I have even people on my streams come in and say "Your accent this week sounds different".

@SuperDicq @Ninji I forced my accent to go back to french after I got too many remarks it was a bad caricature when I was absorbing tf2 engi accent.French accented english is usually thought to be terrible but it's not actually the accent, it's french people terminally incapable of speaking anglo sounds.

@SuperDicq @Ninji I have also mused with cultivating an irish accent because I love it but I dropped it because there's no way it wouldnt be weird.That being said I find it funny that when I spend time with lebron or with german people, I tend to mirror their english accent and also their slight grammar errors.Used to think it was cringe and disrespectful but lebron told me it was easier to understand me this way so /shrug

@MalibuSunrise@linfan.moe @mer@yourwalls.today @Ninji@wuffs.org I honestly don't really mind things like German or French accents in English.I just hate the Dutch English accent specifically but that's probably only because I am Dutch. I don't know how foreign people see the Dutch English accent and if they think it is extremely cringe like I do. It's probably one of those things that only bothers me because it is so familiar.
