       Big drama in some random groupchat, if you go to a bbq but food takes way longer to make than planned and you go home without eating, do you still pay even tough you didnt eat? Some arguments from both sides are:"You put all the responsibility on the person cooking so you cant complain""If they had the responsibility then its their fault that they didnt finish it on time""You couldve helped instead of complaining now""I was going to pay for food and didnt get food so Im not paying"Idk I also didnt eat a lot but since I signed up I payed. Stuff happens and blaming the cook that bought the ingredients too feels bad.

       @hannah it was paellas, hosted by my university. They gave us some space to hang out and cook, and then each group had to make one themselves. The person that said he can cook is also the one that organized the group and bought all the ingredients.

       @leinna@fedi.kemonomimi.pet oh ok then it's uhhhh complicated. because paella is a time consuming thing to make so you need to be on top of the clock if you're the one in charge but people should pitch in and distribute the tasks, however the head cook is the one that needs to organise everyonei think everyone's at fault without knowing more specifics (were people horsing around or was the head cook unable to give proper directions?)
