       @deprecated_ii It's kind of bizarre that he thinks it was making the population grow somehow when the real connection is clearly that they stopped the policy because the population growth started declining faster than expected.You could potentially argue there is merit in, for example, a 2 child policy in America because it would even the playing field between races and slow the percentage decline of the white population. However it would have to be paired with either reinstituting the national origins act (and repealing Hardt-Seller) or just a net zero immigration policy to prevent it from still declining just from people coming in. Enforcement would also require a full dictatorship though.
