@grips I worked in windows because that was my first job. But that wasnt exactly a choice when you have no degree. Its just what worked out first by saying "I game on windows" and getting the apprenticeship at a normal second level position

@grips @teto arch was great in 2011. like the spiritual successor of slackware. but the people were gatekeepers and elitist and rude. like, genuinely irl people that deserve to be boiled in acid.and now the distro is meh and the younger generation is more polite, but only because genz are flaky goths about to kts.doomed distro. regrettably.

@teto @grips btw, windows-hate is pointless. someone at Dconf (maybe atila neves) mentioned that windows has some really smart memory management features. but only elite devs would appreciate it.i would really appreciate if someone can use youtube transcript API against "d language foundation" and extract all references to "windows". it shows that professional devs are critical but not religious.
