@djsumdog @Terry Worse than either, because this one has already put their international influence on the brink, and Iran is significantly more armed than either Vietnam or Iraq were. There's no allied side like in Vietnam, the entirety of Iran is on the same side. The USA can either surrender and go through the retaliatory Israeli CBT, or keep going and bleed any support they might still have left until they're too damaged to be considered an useful ally to put up with by countries like Japan.

@casuist @djsumdog @Terry And both the industrial and human elements were in much better shape in '45 and the 60s. Now over 30% of the US economy is tech grifts, unemployement, renting and 30+ year old singles that consider the country has failed them on purpose are through the roof, and less than 1% of their population is in shape for military service. Even deploying the whole 3.5 million that could be healthy enough to fight (and that's not doable because it completely ignores the human element of willingness, I'd say well over half those people are openly against the war and government) the logistic chain can't hold, nor will the public opinion hold. Iran can afford to lose 3 million people fighting off an invasion by who they see as literal demons that want to murder them all. It will be seen as the greatest heroic fight of their modern history. The USA can't afford to lose 500000 19 year olds fighting in the sandbox for higher oil prices.

These analysis (saw similar elsewhere) assume the USA forces will do all the fighting, and will be similar to other ground-wars.I would assume pajeets and similar would be used as cannon-fodder, in addition to a large mechanized/drone element - both ground and air drones.If the ruling-jews trigger the destruction of all GCC oil-production - by starting that domino-chain, by attacking Iran's - India will be screwed, and many desperate for any opportunity to earn a living (including as mercenaries).

Not only would it make it extremely attractive for India and other countries in Asia to align with Russia for their energy needs instead, the Iranians will pile up the mystery meats in the millions. Russia's petro is being hit by "ukrainian" drones (made in Europe - using "western" satellites), while they refuse to shut-down the uki logistics-chain, which gets their own men killed. But that's another tangent.Let's assume most Russian supply remains available. India is getting that Russian oil now (oil, but not LNG / sanctioned to force USA purchases). Their PM is still screaming they are screwed, because there will still be a massive global shortage = high prices, and India can't afford that. Russia will likely prioritize China. The USA will keep floating their debt with "dollar based" domestic gas-sales (possibly "stablecoins"), and everything they can steal/control in the Western hemisphere.The weakest point in such a plan, IMO, is the "west" has not (that we know of) built up manufacturing-capacity (in their satellites, India, Mexico, etc - they won't pay us) to make enough drones. The slave-labor factories exist, however, and could be converted - but implies a long war, as conversion will take time.Also, "winning" against Iran isn't necessary - just wrecking the place, and making sure it is a mess, like Syria was for decades.

The yanks already are seeking to make deals with automotive manufacturers for possible high scale drone and munition production.But I also don't see the GCC being so retarded as to keep siding with the USA if the jews decide to blow up the oil production, at that point they'd be much better off just switching completely to the asian bloc and making agreements with China and Russia, which would lock the USA and Israel out. The Saudis have already been considering this scenario ever since 2022 when Russia's assets got stolen or frozen, they're not stupid and know there's no real alliegance and they can be next. The GCC has also bought and invested in all sorts of western companies so they have the capacity of retaliating with a complete economical crisis through their myriad companies."Western" military production also has the problem of every manufacturer and congressman and so on expecting absolutely massive margins on anything they build. They have the tech for mass producing cheap drones and bombs, but they won't, they'll go "you want $5000 drones? pay us 250000 a piece like it has been our way for 50 years". Asia has no such problems.Support for all of this is also a boomer thing, the fighting and productive force they need to do it is largely against them and has other concerns. This applies to both the US proper and much of Europe, which is already slowly drifting off and reevaluating the cost-benefit ratio of mantaining alignment with the yankees.And even if "we managed to destroy Iran as our Epstein masters desired" is the outcome the yanks manage to make reality, they'd just end up in a completely unsustainable position where everyone else, especially India and similar countries, go "keep giving the money and oil saar, you cannot stop" and the USA is drained to death over a decade or two, way past the ability to recover, if it doesn't just split into several smaller states or goes through a civil war and abruptly pulls off the global stage.All in all, the only move Washington has available now that doesn't eventually end in their destruction is to put on the cuck hat and pull out, let everyone else laugh at them, and try to salvage their own economy and whatever allies are still willing to work with them.

I don't know if they're betting on that but I think a lot of people in the pentagon are worried about it.It would be a colossal failure, even if we were just trying to sneak in.We tried that a month ago and we lost several planes and made it look it was all about rescuing one pilot (we had set up a secret airbase in Iran, but were quickly found out).
