       I wonder what's the advantage over a kamikaze model. The small rockets don't seem too accurate. On the other hand they make it possible to distribute the damage over a larger area and give a slight edge against air defense, because you can do damage from a range.

       It's a good idea. As soon as you detect that an interceptor is closing in, you launch the rocket and then the whole interception dynamic changes entirely. Kind of like medium-range missile for the cost of a Shahid and a shoulder fired rocket.

       @Groomschild @Terry I think the MQ-9 used hellfires which are more expensive. This thing appears to be firing unguided rockets, which are less accurate but more fun to shoot and less expensive.

       Awful, just awful.If this video is real, and that's a fair ask, what a wasteful piece of shit. All of this garbage the Ukrainians are up to is having absolutely no effect on the battlefield outcomes.Their biggest need is air defense by orders of magnitude, Russian drones and missiles are annihilating their infrastructure, to the granular level where Rubicon are hunting even their tiny starlink uplinks to cut comms.

       Not think its weird there was no outgoing AA fire at all? I assume with the cuts in the vid there was multiple "rocket drones"
