       I submitted a paper to the LIMITS2026 workshop ("Computing within limits") on running #uxn on GPU, mostly based on work my students did. It was rejected, not because of of the technical contribution but because it was considered not a good fit for the workshop.I am kind of surprised, because the reason to do this work is to see if we can run resource constrained VMs like uxn not only on the CPU but also on the GPU, which is there anyway so we might as well use it.

       @wim_v12e the papers don't tend to be that specific usually, they'll do broad overlook of issues without really diving into solutions to the outlined problems, I think this might not be the good place for that. The light green/deep green dichotomy is pretty real in these spaces.

       @neauoire I think that's right. They are also very "academic" in the way they judge relevance etc.Of course I admit the frugal computing argument is a bit of a stretch specifically with Uxn, as it does not need really need the GPU for compute,, but that was not really the point of the paper. I'll have a close look at the feedback and resubmit it somewhere else.
