       AI influences art and artists. I was worried. About artists. About the meaning of art itself. Did photography change the art of painting? For sure. But there are still artists who paint. Artists will always find a way to think of something nobody else does. If producing radio music is no longer considered an art form, because everybody can do it, they will find another way to express themselves.

       I was thinking of a Wallis Bird concert where they sang a song in the middle of the audience or a Jacob Collier concert, where the audience becomes the choir. We will always find unique ways to express ourselves.

       @MoritzGlantz I think "producing radio music" is more a craft than art, and the formulaic approach – and thus, reproduceability – makes it an easy target. But that is just for "background noise".People will still want to have the feeling of connection with artists, in many ways. AI cannot give you a live concert experience.OTOH, Gorillaz (and to a certain extent The KLF) are a good example that people also connect with each other over things they like. Not entirely comparable though.

       @MoritzGlantz And I think that is one essential trait of "art". Finding new ways to express yourself. Making things differently. Celebrating imperfection. Or (Warhol) making the endless reproduction art. I recommend here "Das Kunstwerk im Zeitalter seiner technischen Reproduzierbarkeit", which is almost 100 years old but extended my view on (and perception of) art and artists.
