       @matmair ha! i remembered CORBA for some reason and was like, as a teenager i didn't understand what that was about, surely today it would be interesting to look at? but then my eyes again glazed over. in general it sounds like a better idea than what was implemented i guess

       @mntmn I think it was too soon, with modern gRPC approaches and a few other nice things it could be made significantly easier to implement.
