       I am planning a trip to Germany (especially South Germany) in a few months. If you have any recommendations for tech history, museums, industrial sites, nerdy things, I would appreciate them. Stuff like Deutsches Museum, the cool train in Wuppertal, Arithmeum and Analog Computer Museum, ZKM, Landschaftspark… Anti-recommendations (“overrated,” “not worth the time”) are also welcome.Thank you in advance!

       @mwichary Atomkellermuseum in Haigerloch https://www.haigerloch.de/Atomkeller it’s very small but worth visiting if you’re not more than 2 hours away while you traveling through!oh someone else already mentioned it

       Finally had a chance to visit the Atomkellermuseum in Haigerloch, Germany yesterday. The museums location was used back in 1944 by Heisenberg, Weizsäcker and others where they were doing nuclear research.Highly interesting, worth an hour or tour of detour if you're ever in the region:https://www.haigerloch.de/AtomkellerI also found this ominous unlabled box behind one of the exhibits and was delighted to find a giant chunk of spicy ore 😹 ☢️
