       @eff I could give a flying fork of how police departments interpret fair drone operation, when the whole Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) industry is regulated by the FAA. Are local law enforcement officials ignoring FAA rules? Do the actual operators hold the required licensing as well as having registered their drones with the FAA? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regulation_of_UAVs_in_the_United_States
