       @davidrevoy[edited because storytelling is hard  :(  ]When I played Moria a long time ago, I distinctly remember selling unidentified items to shopkeepers for ridiculously small sums.  Shopkeeper would occasionally identify a cursed item and yell at me.  Those were joyous moments of schadenfreude.

       @davidrevoy Genuinely one of the most maddening things in games x3I adore Critter Cove but the fact the game makes it impossible to earn reasonable amounts of income from selling things, and instead only from tourism, is immensely frustrating. Even the rare crystal you can only find on a single island only sells for I think 5 doubloons each, and selling a haul every storm isn't enough to buy anything.

       @davidrevoy Why not just use it on some random encounters and get your gold back that way?If its resale value is 1 and it cost you all of your gold to buy, then it's unique and probably far more powerful than anything else you can get your hands on at the moment.
