due to an acute normalcy bias theres a number of people who will say this is fine, nothing to worry about and anyways bread and flour comes from the local Kroeger supermarket so whats the big deal.

big corps own a lot of the large farms, not so much about the weather, I think that machine was destroyed by an Iranian shahed

Friend of mine has a huge operation in eastern co. Conditions were so poor this year he never bothered to harvest his winter wheat. He recently planted summer wheat and for the first time in 15 years had to buy seed which was paid for by the crop insurance on his failed winter crop.Hes not worried yet but said one more failed season and he will be.

No, we will keep feeding Africa while paying to do so out of our own pockets. A new round of price hikes and shrinkflation will hit the west this fall
