       @q you’re the 2nd person today who’s ignoring the canary version from December, which had lines truncated in a way which suggests they’re copying this from a terminal and it just didn’t fit the screen… the new version seems to be cut off to the last visible sentenceuser error / hotfix?

       @domi @q that honestly just makes it even more fishy - the first might have been an honest mistake, but you can bet they wouldn't make an even less plausible mistake of the same type again just a couple months later.

       @lambda @q i’m not saying it’s either option (although given how I’ve seen people handle tech, I don’t think any option is unbelievable) - just, it feels sort of dishonest to do a diff and ignore one of the versions

       @ChaosKitsune @q Between those versions the canary was also somewhat borked and the lines were cut off (with a > char)So not sure if it means anything or not, but from the nature of a canary both changes should be seen as a bad omen.Lets hope for the best!
