       I had intended to present a wild and wooly speech about music containers at ACMI in Melbourne in about a week. After months of discussion I’ve only just been told that I must present only vinyl records on their sponsors expensive turntable.I can’t drop the flights and accommodation but if I am forced to play only vinyl on an expensive turntable at a ‘moving image’ venue I may walk.        @blurk we’ve come to an understanding where we start from the Beatles and loop from there. Managed to find a pressing with the lock groove intact and can also tell a story about how the Beatles only ever mixed the mono version because stereo was just a fad that would die out. #music
