       @hj @feld @link one of my buddies bought a shitty house a couple years out of college.  I rented a room from him for a year.  We discovered all kinds of surprises, including that the garage was made out of doors in a similar fashion.  The builder had covered it with siding so it wouldn't be obvious.  I always wondered why.  Did he get a bunch of doors cheap somehow?
