       Hi fedi, I need advice I want to make live Linux .isoPreinstall some of my most used software into itSometimes update it, so it must not be too hardGive it some persistence storage, so I can tune it without rebaking system .isoAnd put all that on Ventoy-powered USB Is it even possible? What are the best tools for that? Where do I even start?(I tried just mounting USB drive from live iso but it failed, I assume it's due to ventoy magic)

       @mo sounds like something NixOS makes quite easy to do. You can bake any system configuration into an iso file.

       @drq hmmmm yes this looks close, I wonder if it can be used to build arbitrary OS configuration, not just the installed oneWill research when I get to actually trying
