       I don't know who needs to hear this, but: The fact that people you know online had trouble getting on HRT does not mean that you will have trouble getting on HRT.You might, for sure! There's lots of obstacles to access, and that sucks. But I've known people who delayed transition by years because they heard about another country where the waitlist was really long, or knew someone who went to a place that required a diagnosis, and just like... never googled if that was true in their area?

       I get that for some people it's more of a rationalization because they're afraid of pursuing HRT, and that's totally valid. It's a reasonable thing to be afraid of. But it's good to be honest with yourself. Making up obstacles is a great way to screw yourself out of happiness.
