       hot take (and the replies aren't a space to debate /gen) but glitch isn't indie animation anymore and That's Okaythere's something inherent to a work made by one or more people in home environment that no corporate product could truly capture, and once you make it past a certain point of finances/fame/other ingredients, it's time to just say goodbye to the independent playground and admit you're a corporationlet's not use "indie" as an alternative word for "good shit", because we get entities with more net worth and budget than i will ever have calling themselves "indie" just because they aren't owned by a megacorporation, watering down the playgroundy idea of indie scenesYou Can Be "not indie" Anymore And Still Make Good Shit, it's just you're no longer in the leagues with people making that good shit from their very own home, with little to no budget because they probably have a daytime job that exhausts them; let's stop acting like the only 2 scenes are "indie" and "AAA megacorps"
