       RE: https://hachyderm.io/@mekkaokereke/116539461996395373I was drafting a post last night about how the Supreme Court's dismantling of the Voting Rights Act was the beginning of another phase with what the GOP did to Memphis as an example, and today I find that they just did the same thing in my state.This tells me 2 things:1) as pissed off as I am that they just nullified the special election, if voting didn't matter, they wouldn't need to rig it2) voting is not *enough*, we need sustained direct action, starting from the community level.#USpolRT: https://hachyderm.io/users/mekkaokereke/statuses/116539461996395373

       (obviously both these efforts have been ongoing for decades, I refer here to these actions in context of steps in #Project2025 plans)And while I'm tagging this as #USPol, make no mistake that rightwing agitators and governments all over the world are taking note so they can use these tactics against minorities in their countries as well. When I said everyone, I meant EVERYONE.
