       When I first read Asimov’s *I, Robot*—still a teenager—I was reluctant to believe that humanity would surrender itself to the control of computers.When I reread the book more recently as part of my research work, people—'federal agencies, state and local governments, international organizations, and also private companies'—are already subjugated to electronic devices, and these are coming under the control of the so-called AI.
