       @charliebrownau I took it apart yesterday to bypass the thermostat and it's rattling after I put it back together. it's probably the thermostat probe touching the front grate occasionally. I should've removed the whole thermostat assembly but I was lazy and annoyed and just wanted to get it back together

       I had to tape up most of the external plastics on a cheap piece of shit window AC back when I was poor
