       I've been learning a lot about "data storytelling" latelywhat it boils down to is the people in charge are too stupid to read charts and interpret data, so you need to package up your insights into a little fairy tale for them like you're explaining something to a 5 year oldit's understood that they're not going to read any charts you make in detail so it's best to remove axis labels, grid lines that make it easier to interpret the chart, etc. that stuff is just clutter that makes the pretty picture uglier

       Ive done some training on this for people who work with data but don't know how to do anything with it. I love seeing the lightbulb go off about how visual representation affects comprehension and buy-in. Simple changes, huge difference.
