       Whelp, with tossing out the Virginia map, all the Red states eagerly eliminating their Blue districts, looks like the fash fix is in for the House. The Senate map looks AWFUL. And then UK voting in fash. And fash on the rise pretty much everywhere. Kinda hard to even try and flee because everywhere is one election from being fash.Whelp, guess I'll just be seeing y'all in the camps.

       @JessTheUnstill@infosec.exchange On a proper democratic system, there are no bad elections. People votes to what they want and get the system they want. If people wants fascism, they get fascism. That's why I'm saying, ballots and elections don't win against fascism.People got mislead by social media that fascism is the answer to high rents, low wages and political corruption because "immigrants bad" and "woke bad". So they chose what they believe is the answer.The US is learning the hard way and even there, they're slow learners. But once the system gets corrupted by the fascists it's already a little too late to go back. They'll do anything to maintain their power at any cost. Hence why I'm saying, ballots and elections won't solve the issue anymore.World war 2 didn't end just because Germany lost the war. It ended because most of the people who wanted that war died, and the few who survived lost their will to fight. When the will to fight ends that's when a war trully ends. That loss of the will to fight is what brought the modern society we knew and loved. But now that they're getting back? Yeah... you know the drill.Some countries have it better than others. Here in Spain at least there is some ressistance. But yeah, Europe and the west are almost cooked. I was hoping that the MAGA would be kicked out of the US at some point and that maybe that would stop the right wing movement across Europe, but they're already tampering with the country's legal system to get an even more dominant position. And even when people sees what the right wing is doing in the US, they still vote for them, so I kinda lost hope for that. People doesn't care anymore.Either people kicks them out by force or there won't be other way I think.
