       @gamingonlinux I found that happens when I drag out a tab to turn it into a new window, then close the window that holds the pinned tab before I close the newly created window. Definitely annoying!

       @gamingonlinux You've likely checked this, but when this has happened to me, it's usually been when the wrong window has opened and the tabs were in a different window. Reopening a recently closed window in history might bring them back.

       @gamingonlinux I installed an extension to explicitly always preserve my pinned tabs. It’s dumb that I even have to do this…

       @gamingonlinux Had that happen, too. Sometimes Ctrl-Shift-N (reopen last closed window) helps.

       @gamingonlinux it's why I stopped using Firefox. I use Vivaldi now and have never had any problems. There is another browser I'd like to try at some point.
