@gutenberg_org Remembering is not like playing a recording, hence fooling people into having false memories is more long lasting than "brainwashing" which wears off.Similarly "lie detecting" machines, AKA polygraphs, are pseudo science as the interpretation can be subjective and how nervous or relaxed you are per question and answer need have no relation to truth.We have no scale to measure intelligence. IQ tests are comparative for people of similar backgrounds.

@gutenberg_org So called computer "Neural Networks" are not at all like biological ones.Almost all the terms in AI and LLM/Generative AI are at best misleading:No machine learning, it's data storage.No Neural Networks, it's a distributed multi-layer data-flow database.No pattern recognition, it's pattern matching! That actually can work well.
