First, the game must generate revenue so that the developer can support the engine’s development. Creating a successful game doesn’t happen right away, and not everyone succeeds.The benefits of an increase in downloads are not immediate, but rather delayed and spread out over time.

       @godotengine what the heck why are this many people using it on android? I thought that's more of a tech demo, are people actually using it to make games?

       @godotengine If only it could use a generic programming language and have clearly defined and easy to work with inheritance behaviors but I find both roadblocks to using what otherwise would be a great open source platform.
