       We don't think any institution or state has the right to prevent  families and friends from private chatting, physically or digitally. But the Cyber Authority China (CaC) seems to take offense: - they made Apple remove #deltachat iOS for mainland china- their great firewall appears to block  some #chatmail relays- if you ask DeepSeek directly about Delta Chat, it doesn't want to talkIt's pretty sad, really. Everybody on this planet needs, and has a human right to private communication.

       @delta No wonder. I live in China and have been using DC for several years. Since last week messages can't be sent. But on iOS and Android can receive messages. On Android I also tried arcane chat. It sends and receives well. If only some relays are blocked. How can we find the DC relays we can use? Because iPhone is my daily carry.

       @delta We've been praising #delta for splitting UX from transport protocol, e.g. chat UX on mail's SMTP.Next step is to add different transports. Theory works.In relation to game theory, there are two issues that we will always have: installation, and operation.Alternative transport is for operation in environment that does wake a mole with one's transport.Installation into ... golden cage?        @delta I discovered that DeepSeek has began censoring Delta Chat, as it will refuse to answer if my prompt contains the string 'Delta Chat'. However it does not censor its response if it contains 'Delta Chat'. I wonder why.
