       @icedquinn Did not know it is that effective at displacing oxygen, but yes, it is.Makes me wonder how many "funny voice" experiments become emergency room calls or worse.

       @divVerent funny voice helium is usually short exposure to a tube followed immediately by breathing. you have to maintain a relatively strong isolation from room air for 10 seconds to cause unconsciousness, according to the swiss.that unconsciousness would also likely result in dropping the tube, which also restores normal airflow regardless.though i've heard of people getting in to accidents with CO2 tanks and bursting themselves with too much of it by accident doing completely normal industrial things
