       @db 15 years ago I was like "smart home sounds cool but all of it will be pricey because system needs to be robust".5 years ago I was like "so they just did not bother at all".

       @peteriskrisjanis @db a little annoyed at times how the verification tools are mostly stuck in academia. even if you want to do a very good job its not exactly the most approachable :neocat_pensive:

       @db what, you didn’t create a separate, isolated 2.4 GHz WiFi network just for your lightbulbs, and assigned them each a static IP? I thought that was basic practice, once you assembled your team of lightbulb installation IT specialists!
