The nomenclature is confusing because it doesn't actually make sense. The delineation via light and dark does not work properly because 'light chud' is originally intended as an equivalent to "light touch" (i.e. some chud elements) yet 'dark chud' is meant as "heavy chud" (extremely chud/RW-coded). However dark and light are opposites. It would have been cleaner to use "dark chud" and "darker chud" or light and then heavy because in both cases they are supposed to signify a gradient/heightening not opposites. I would also argue that there's a difference between "chudcore/chud coded" and whatever the common trait these listed things have. "Edgy"? "Gore"? "Anime"? I don't see the common denominator, rather it just seems like the author of the image listed whatever things they enjoy and they define themselves as "lightchud".There's, for example, little to no overlap between Phase Connect, Beyond Citadel, Ironlily, Demon Roots and Monster Girl Quest other than all of them being "anime(ish)", which is surely not the defining feature of "lightchud"?Also, what's up with the Philipines and south America?
