       @delta saw that the large res pictures i've been sending wheren't recieved at native resolution. seems that i need to attach it as a file to do that. but there is a setting for sending files as small-size/balanced, so why can't there be a setting for large/untouched?attaching it as a file is hard for me to do as i store my media in hydrus. which makes drag and drop real easy but finding the file in the folders hard.also, is work beïng done to make audio calls on desktop doable?

       @Gloomy_Magician we like to minimize available configuration options, as it overwhelms new users; but maybe you can create a symbolic link on your desktop, to the hydrus directory where you store the photos?You can try out audio calls on desktop by turning on "Debug Calls" in the Advanced > Experimental Features.

       @Gloomy_Magician moreover, sending every image at native resolution would significantly increase data traffic, often by 10x to 100x. this can lead to rejected messages or filling up storages unexpectedly.to protect ecosystem and recipient's data, sending an "original" file should be an intentional choice (if quality is paramount) per item rather than a global setting. see also https://delta.chat/en/help#mediaquality
