       @guizzy Every single Godzilla film after the first one was them spinning the wheels and desperately trying to churn out low quality kaiju slop to keep selling tickets every year. Godzilla's victory dance is no more farfetched than the fact that he magically re-appears in the 2nd film after already being killed off in the first one. Also they stabilised the franchise later on so it wasn't really as bad as Fonzie, but there is a real run of low quality godzilla slop with shoestring budgets from the mid-60s onward
