@EUCommission then start cleaning your own house, if I look at the World Press Freedom Index personally I think that anything under 90% in our EU is unacceptable and should be fixed immediately! Naturally if you want to silence press by #chatcontrol or forcing to publish sources.....

@EUCommission The free press relies on the ability to be pseudonymous, both for the journalists and their sources. Don't undermine the foundation of our open societies by building infrastructure for ubiquitous online identity verification.

@EUCommission To include (please) "free from the private ownership/control of oligarchs, also known as "press barons". The better model for a free press is ownership by a Board of Trustees pledged to uphold basic principles of probity & objectivity. Presently sadly lacking in the United Kingdom, with calamitous consequences for citizens.
