       Something I think a lot of fedi guys should be thinking about is: You don't really want to be talking politics to your GF / date / wife.Women see the world through a different lens than men, and that's normal and fine.Men are evolved to fight, secure territory, and establish a working system in which households can thrive. Women are evolved for raising children and imposing what rules are necessary for THEIR household to thrive. The thought processes that are evolved for these roles are different.If you're trying to debate, you're likely to find yourself going in circles because you don't have the same thought processes. Also it's very likely that you end up with what ought to be a fun debate turning into an actual argument, which stresses your relationship and is good for nobody.My opinion is that for choosing a future wife, "based" political views don't really matter, what matters is that she's grounded in reality, and capable of critical thinking and self-doubt. So despite the pope apparently being a libshit, Catholic girls are still going to be a pretty good catch.

       I've known two gals who were brought up & maintained being conservative, voting red, until marrying liberal dudes (one a doctor, one 12 yrs younger than her, haha). They flipped 😩Conversely, a couple gals grew more conservative, too. It's true.
