       chat, is it a good sign when someone feels a need to juice the stats hard? like, say, by making it so every user of a popular editor gets a ‘co-authored by copilot’ annotation in their git commits, even if they never used it at all?

       @whitequark @riverpunk @pikhq and it can only do it if you use the built-in git integration anyway, so if you CLI or anything else, it’s not very relevant but also still not any less appalling of a decision
