       @lain Some ten years ago I had a long phase of listening to audio books of Hugo and/or Locus award winning science fiction classics, must have been at least a dozen noels, but only from Lord of Light (and Illium/Olympos) I can still remember individual sentences because the prose was just that powerful.

       @lain I remember reading it but dropped it, maybe should give it another chance. I do remember the prose and dialogue were good though.I just want to sleep the sleep of ages, to know again the Great Rest, the perpetual bliss, to hear the songs the stars sing on the shores of the great sea.
