       @ayke@blahaj.social Play piercing is temporary piercing, sometimes as part of a kink scene. The piercings wouldn't be practical to heal, so they're removed after a bit. There are a few reasons why people do that:- The pain is interesting. It can be intense depending on the location and the gauge, and needles are scary, so a lot of folks who get pierced that way report an endorphin rush- You can do really beautiful things like corsets around the body, or some types of bondages. You can keep the piercings for a short event and be a living piece of art- Depending on the gauge and location, it can bleed a lot, but yet it heals quite well. After all, they're deep but very small incisions. So this is a great way to get yourself covered in blood without leaving too many permanent marks, and it's possible to ensure sterility and a low risk of infection. If the bleeding is undesired, it's also easy to stop, so it's convenient like that
