       some of them are bold enough to think that there may be another option, built on some kind of decentralized open protocolbut the other atproto options just aren't there yet

       I don't know why they have this huge blindspot for mastodon, but it is hilarious to see that every time they talk about the viable microblogging platforms, they will list every possibility except fediverse ones

       @foone Have you ever seen mainstream media mention mastodon? I sometimes see links to mastodon posts but not like an article mentioning it. Maybe they once tried it, found it lacking and dismissed it. They don't even know it's still *there* ten years later or so
