       @gardiner_bryant I did not like seeing Facebook as a sponsor, because it's already dirty money. Adobe has at least a solid background, even if I don't like what they have become. GenAI made all their profits by exploitation. Artist/creatives being on top of the list. So, this is a red line that should not have been crossed. Thank you for your words, I hope the Blender board reconsiders.

       @gardiner_bryantAs I already said in a YouTube comment, this this "they're doing it to destroy FOSS" is either a calculated manipulation or something close to persecution complex.Pushing such a narative will bring more radical people who can't think straight out of hate and push away people who try to think critically even when looking at something they don't like.And that's sad.

It's me looking at the facts (making everything intentionally shitty at light speed) and drawing a conclusion based on those facts.I understand where you're coming from, though, and it's why I haven't been voicing this opinion until recently.

"They're doing it to destroy FOSS" is a provocative claim and, in isolation, I get why many folks would take exception.But I 100% stand behind everything I said in the article. Free software is built on human creativity and the social contract of trust. I believe that the purveyors of AI chatbots are trying to erode that those things. And that means...
