       @pvrahbek@expressional.social Meshtastic is great. MeshCore is a vibecoded mess with a proprietary app that is not available in F-Droid and requires you to "buy a license to unlock full functionality".

       @SuperDicq@minidisc.tokyo @pvrahbek@expressional.social unfortunately, meshtastic in my region is effectively abandoned so i have to use meshcorethere's also an alternative oss application written in flutter with (mostly?) full functionality, so not everything lost yet

As every client acts as a node you only need two devices to have communicate.Meshcore requires a repeater. So for the bare minimum communication you need two clients and one repeater, three devices minimum.
