@gamingonlinux Please let us know if the plastic still feels cheap and shitty (very scientific term) and the shell edges are a bit sharp and abrasive.This is a gripe I have with the original SCs I have but I haven't seen a review commenting either way on it yet

@gamingonlinux just remember, if you are using the sticks first you are doing it wrong. Tho I will admit since the pads are no longer round they are less useful than the original Steam Controller which is a shame.

@gamingonlinux I'm really just wondering if I'm actually going to notice any real benefits with a Steam Controller, over using an old Xbox controller? I don't really see any standout features in the specs. Magnetic stick controllers? The xbox sticks work fine. There was some weird sounding centrifugal grip sensor or something, but how many games will support it?

@Blort @gamingonlinux it's all about Steam Input. You can remap any control to any other. The touch sensitive grip can emulate a mouse click. Or activate a gyroscopic mouse input. Or anything else. The trackpads are also remappable and super neat. I personally love the controller.

@gamingonlinux I love my original steam controller - just fits my large hands perfectly and still works well. The only two changes I'd really want was a proper D-pad and USB recharging.Waiting to see what people make of the new one, personally hoping it uses the same ergonomic model they used before.
