@davidrevoy Many years ago I saw a little cartoon featuring teleport booths. Of course I can't find it now, but it was basically a copier that squashed the original. It raises some philosophical questions, especially if the squasher fails.

@davidrevoy Reminds me of a Douglas Hofstadter article back in the 90's.He postulated that teleportation would be a "murdering twin maker" rather than actually transporting anything. He would have LOVED this depiction

@DanKen @davidrevoy I *suspect* it is not expected for there to be multiple og:image in the page, so if a new one is presented, the parser just replaces whatever it parsed previously. so it gets the first, second, third, fourth ... now I see the spec says the first one gets precedence, so these are non-compliant parsers. funny even whatsapp has a broken parser 🤔

@piggo @DanKen Yes, all in all, very bizarre choice to select the last image of a series to illustrate a series of image; it's usually the first one selected. Unless a loop somewhere processing the picture just leaves the variable after scanning them frozen to the last item.

@mhunt Yes, it's inspired by any game with a Fast Travel system. Since month (because I play only 30min here and there on week-end) I started Cyberpunk 2077, and I also imagine this for the fast travel system (they look like cash machines with a glowing hologram cube map on the top.)

@davidrevoy most games have a similar travel system or teleport, but something different on FFXI was that for some areas you had to take an air-ship or a boat and the travel could last as long as 30 mins. Things happened along the way , like attack from monsters.
