       I'm trying to use basic ass existed-since-the-beginning-of-graphical-computing snap to grid line drawing and this piece of shit keeps overriding snap any time my cursor is in line in the X or Y axis with any other point, because it snaps to the line only, not the grid coordinatethis can be turned off but it's not obvious how and as in classic FOSS fashion you have to hope you search for the right thing to bring up a 13 year old forum post telling you what to do

       yeh i got no idea, i just whing it when using inkscape, i use the arrow keys along shift and alt to line things up by eye.

       @deprecated_ii shift+5 to toggle snapping. And, the little arrow beside the snap button lets you set the snapping rules.snap_button_hotkey.jpgsnap_rules.jpg
