       @eff I can't imagine the techbro oligarchs allowing their minions to pass this. They're having enough trouble trying to sell people on AI as it is. I mean I can imagine it because they're quite capable of placing evil for its own sake above their own business interests, but it would seem to be shooting themselves in the foot to ban both minors and anonymous adults from using any AI.

       @eff The GUARD Act is not about protecting minors or anyone else. It's about populating a massive new database and making billions from it. It's about registering every user of every computer, matching them together, and building a new surveillance-and-control industry.
