       @dangillmor I haven't been to a movie theater in a decade, chiefly because my hearing has gone to all hell. Was thinking about doing so recently because a non-SF-geekie friend was asking about "Project Hail Mary", but then I discovered that tix at the NYC theater closest to my apt were over $23. WTAF?Pardon me while I I yell at clouds about paying $4 to see a movie at matinee prices back when I was in grad school (not in NYC).

       @dangillmor I've seen only four movies in theaters since 2020, and three of them were 4K or IMAX re-releases. That said, I'm a hermit, my spouse is an audio engineer, and we have a pretty nice setup for at-home viewing.
