       Pff how annoying, can't login on my Microsoft account (to watch tv via xbox)I think the email leaked and too many password attempts where made, now I gotta wait 72 hours or so derpImagine needing your email for something super important but Microsoft just says no noAnd yes I hate it too but i need it to get my xbox working since we don't have regular tv

       @stux  I cannot even delete my account cause by them theres something linked to the account that blocks the deletion......And i cant get rid of it....

       @stux The only thing I've ever found to help get around those types of things is to have MS Authenticator setup with Passkeys and/or to have a hardware token (like a YubiKey) linked to the account and then do a sign in from a computer. Microsoft treats both as a "passkey".Since having the 2FA + passkeys enabled on my accounts, I haven't had issues.Might be something to look into. I hadn't had anything beyond 2FA OTP on my MS accounts until I started working my current job, where I need passkeys to keep my sanity with Azure GCC High levels of security.

       @stux 2fa significantly reduced stress level for me.Also, you can use any other email to login, like Gmail or proton for example, but recieve mails to you original Ms address

       @stux Honestly I didn't knew that was a problem at ms, but somehow sounds reasonable tho.We're talking about potential typos and too much attempts if I got you right?Just a stupid suggestion: check input language also :}
