       Sad story, not sad because an AI deleted a database with backups, but now they are blaming the database software that it stores backups in the same volume. Who selected the database? Never tried a restore? They took the shortrack and it went bad. They believed that security rails work, but it's a good demonstration that AI does not think and knows anything. I checked the railway docs: "Backups are a newer feature that is still under development." with their limitations. SAAS and serverless is great, you click your software and blame the service you have selected. No knowledge needed and customers thought you know what to do. When I select a database, I think about backup, restore and maintenance. If the snapshot is not save in the default place, then dump it to a separate volume. Software can fail and AI fails all the time. It predicts and is sometimes right. Telling people now what software should do is funny, because you could have used this list and check if your software and backend does it. Never expect that others think for you.        @stoeps @leyrer "The API didn't ask for confirmation before deleting the volume" is a wild take. It's an API. How do they expect it to work? Send "DELETE /volume", get a "Error 400 Confirmation needed" back, send "DELETE /volume?am_i_sure=true"?
