       @internetarchive I switched phones a few days ago.I had preserved my podcast collection by switching my SD card to the new phone.But Google did not move my podcast catcher, they downloaded all new, current apps. Several lost features.I rolled back my podcast catcher to a version I liked via APK. But before that I had to delete the newer one, and when I did, Google deleted my entire collection of podcasts.Tech Fan hasn't been updating in 6 months, now my old episodes are gone forever.

       @internetarchive You're right. Preservation *IS* important. I like #InternetArchive a lot, but it's UI is clunky and cumbersome. The metadata on archived items is often unchecked. Overall, the site has a 1990s feel and needs major renovations. I hate to see it like it is and I would like to help do something about it.

       @internetarchiveThis is called imperialism btw. It happens to countries all the time. Thats why we dont have mom and pop shops and everything looks the same in every country in the west. Its reallt easy to explain. They have found a way to clonize the internet. Good job.
